Publishing open access provides free and open online access to your research, increasing the visibility of your work. Learn more about open access here. One path to publishing your work open access is through paying article processing charges. Nimitz Library has negotiated with the following publishers to waive article processing charges (APCs) for articles published in any of their journals:

To take advantage of this opportunity, USNA authors should submit your article(s) as normal. YOU must be listed as the POC with USNA credentials. You must select a Creative Commons license. That’s it!  The rest is behind the scenes.
