I was trying to create a Materials Processing Department in Alma > Configuration > General > Work Orders and Departments > Work Order Departments. When clicking on Add Department I got a small empty box.
You need to start by defining the Work Order Type -- Alma needs to know what type of work is being done before a department can be defined to do that work.
1) Create Work Order Type
2) Add Department (Click the link and you should be able to choose the work order that you defined in step 1.)
